I'm Lorraine a mum of two - Callum and Kerrie, happily married to Ivan and 'mummy' to Jazz and Toodles (our 2 cats). We live in County Antrim Northern Ireland
A colleague is retiring tis weekend so I made this card for her. I used a sheet of dark purple cardstock to make an A5 Portrait card and then I tore a strip of vellum and attached using a tape runner. The topper is one from a Kanban set I got from QVC. I added a handwritten sentiment and a papermania flower which I chalked the edges in purple.
I made these cards following the docrafts sketch challenge and then waited too long to enter. Must try harder!!! I found the sketch easy to follow and liked the results.
I spent the morning with my sister and her 2 children in their new house. The views from her front window are just beautiful. The kids love it too as she has a duck pond and some goats just out her front door. Its a beauifully quiet place.
I love this little girl image. I made this for my niece whose birthday is coming up soon. Got some new papers and I can't wait to use them over the weekend.
I love the colours of this card. Looking forward to spring even though the weather outside is awful. I haven't made very many cards this week as I've been busy at work but I'm off tomorrow so maybe I'll give the housework a miss and make a few cards instead
I had a good day today. The weather was rubbish so I sat at my kitchen table and played with my paper and ribbon. I printed some images and paper from My Craft Studio The Collectors Edition and then just saw what happened.
It must be the bad weather but I was really in the mood to make Christmas Cards! How strange is that. I usually start in July and hubby thinks I've gone mad - maybe I'll not tell him that I've started already this year. I'll just feel quietly smug and organised for a change
